Coronation Street star Todd Boyce has confirmed that his character, Stephen Reid, is set to kill again in just weeks. The cobbles murderer is set to claim his next victim in April and Stephen star Todd, 61, has even hinted that "there could be more" deaths for his character. Viewers will recall that Stephen murdered Leo Thompkins last year and recently murdered the latter's father, Teddy Thompkins, after he grew suspicious of Stephen. On Monday's episode, it looked as though Stephen was going to kill for a third time after Rufus Donahue told him to tear up the American contract as he wanted sole rights to Nippersnapper.Threatening Stephen, Rufus said if he doesn't play ball, he'll tell everyone how he's been drugging Carla....
Viewers will recall that Stephen has been spiking Carla's drink with LSD recently as "vile" revenge, which resulted in Carla woozily driving the Underworld van into Paul Foreman and she has since headed to a private clinic, fearing her psychosis is returning. On Monday's episode, a furious Stephen picked up the hole punch as he approached Rufus but was soon disturbed by Michael Bailey, who innocently and obliviously walked in. Speaking to the Mirror about his current storyline and his character's third victim in April, actor Todd said: "And after that I think there could be more.
He has a taste for it now and I think he figures that if he gets caught for three, he might as well get caught for four or five. "It would be great to go down in the record books as the show’s biggest serial killer. What a thing to be known for.
