Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has sent fans wild with her comments after they suggested an 'alternative' to the show's current love triangle. Thursday nights' (February 29) trip to the cobbles saw the latest war between her character Bethany Platt and Daisy Midgeley.
Earlier, Daisy, played by Charlotte Jordan, was heard confiding in fellow Rovers barmaid Glenda Shuttleworth that there’s still a spark between her and ex-fiance Daniel Osbourne and shared her hopes they can get back together after she looked after his son, Bertie.
While Glenda reminded her Bethany is now in the picture as she rekindled her former fling with Daniel immediately as she returned to Weatherfield over the New Year, Daisy suggested it was just a flash-in-the-pan romance and that what she and Daniel had was much more than that.
