When lockdown hit, and the cast and crew suspended filming at the Salford-based set, Colson packed up and went back to his family. It was then, he previously told the Manchester Evening News, that he chose to put himself first after spending so long being a self-confessed "people pleaser''.

Since then, Colson, who would drink around five pints of fizzy drinks a day before his epic weight loss, has regularly updated his followers on his latest runs and gym sessions as he continues with his new lifestyle.
