While not revealing how Stephen eventually leaves, Todd told the Manchester Evening News and other press that he believes Corrie fans will be happy with how his time on the cobbles concludes.
"I think the audience will be pleased with how it shakes out," the soap star told us. "They have put up with a lot of frustrations. People have pointed out that there have been many murderers in history that go undetected for decades but in soap, you can only put up with that injustice for so long so it's perfectly timed."
