Coronation Street fans were left fuming at Bernie Winter before asking the same question about her son Paul Foreman. Viewers of the ITV soap saw the character taken off to the police station after her scam with Shelly Rothington was discovered.
During Monday night's trip to the cobbles, it was Paul and Billy Mayhew's stag do and when they arrived at the Bistro for the celebrations, Billy was left taken aback by all the glitter and the rainbows echoing Summer Spellman's initial concern, but Paul loved the effort made by his sister, Gemma.

The police officer informed Bernie that they’d like her to answer some questions regarding a potential fraud investigation involving Shelly. Once at the station, Bernie made out she was simply helping a young woman with MND by collecting a few parcels for her and told her to ask Shelly about it.
But the police ended up having to tell her that Shelley had died leaving her stunned into silence. Once released, Bernie headed over the the Bistro where she collared Paul and told him the news of Shelley's death leaving him devastated.
And the move left Corrie fans flocking to social media as they wondered why Bernie couldn't wait until later to deliver the news rather than telling him at the stag do.
