Coronation Street cast give Maureen Lipman birthday surprise during Fiz wedding filming

There's big drama on Coronation Street next week after Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) loses the plot big time. He’s stressed after discovering that Jack (Kyran Bowes) is being bullied at school. Meanwhile, with his wife Abi (Sally Carman) and baby Alfie due to move back in, Kev’s upset when Jack admits he’s not looking forward to their return as they will take all of Kev's attention.

The last time viewers of the ITV soap saw the teen, played by Millie Gibson, she was pleading to be set free after being bundled into a grotty cellar. Help does eventually arrive when her guardian Gary Windass (Mikey North) tracks her down and charges in. A violent showdown ensues, which quickly turns deadly.

Coronation Street's Sally Carman and Joe Duttine have finally tied the knot, a few years after they met on the set of one of the country's most beloved soaps. Sally, 41, who plays Abi Franklin in Coronation Street, confirmed that she and Joe, 52, had finally gotten married - posting a sweet snap with the caption: "We did", along with a yellow love heart emoji. In the snap, the pair kissed on the lips inside a huge circle balloon wreath in pretty pastel colours with all different sized balloons and faux vines woven through it.

Phill Whittaker is having a bit of a disastrous time on the cobbles right now after he was jilted by Fiz Stape in Coronation Street. The character, played by Jamie Kenna, started out as Fiz's knight in shining armour after her shock split from Tyrone Dobbs following his affair with their lodger, Alina Pop.
