ITV Coronation Street's Phill star Jamie Kenna surprises fans with accent in 'interesting' message to fans

Phill Whittaker is having a bit of a disastrous time on the cobbles right now after he was jilted by Fiz Stape in Coronation Street. The character, played by Jamie Kenna, started out as Fiz's knight in shining armour after her shock split from Tyrone Dobbs following his affair with their lodger, Alina Pop.
But months down the line, the Underworld machinist appeared unable to hide her true feelings any longer and left Phill to go back to Tyrone - but not before marrying him. Fiz has been dubbed cruel by viewers of the ITV soap after she only decide to ditch Phill after they said 'I Do' at their wedding reception.
And despite the days having passed by, he still has no idea that she's back in the arms of her ex Tyrone. After a romantic meal with a mariachi band failed to win Fiz over, Phill took a different direction during Wednesday night's (July 13) trip to Weatherfield. Fiz was left red-faced when he arrived outside Underworld factory with a boombox blaring out the love song In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel, copying the trench coat-wearing John Cusack in the classic rom-com Say Anything.

Donning an eighties-style quiffed hairdo, he soon switched the music to play Silent Night as he paid homage to the famous scene from the Christmas film Love Actually. In the classic film Mark, played by Andrew Lincoln, declares his unrequited love for Keira Knightley's character Juliet by holding up a series of cards.
Phill, however, attempted to hold up cards containing the words of Fiz’s favourite love songs. He tried to get Kirth Sutherland, played by Andy Whyment, but to the amusement of the factory staff - but the embarrassment of Fiz -
