A creative homeowner has caused a stir after transforming his garden hedges into stunning male and female figures.
The green-fingered enthusiast, who wishes to remain anonymous, has carved the two 10 foot effigies outside his front door in the village of Stenton in East Lothian.
Locals have been enjoying the hedge artwork for years as the artist is well known for his topiary talents.
One resident said: "These kind of things have been appearing at the cottage for years now, he's really talented and at the end of the day it's a bit of fun."
And a second added: "The kids love the artwork and we always have a giggle when we pass it on the way home."
