Bruno Fernandes has posted a message on social media that looks to have laughed off criticism of Manchester United's defence.
The Portuguese star uploaded a picture of himself alongside Manchester United defensive duo Raphael Varane and Eric Bailly.
The two central defenders have recently returned from their respective injury troubles with the Ivorian picking up a knock on international duty.
Varane was absent for the win over Brighton after suffering a stomach issue but provided a welcome boost for Ralf Rangnick's side as he was pictured in training on Thursday.
Fernandes posted a picture between the two defenders on Instagram with the caption: "Feeling very safe between these two [laughing face]."
United's defenders have been criticised at times this season but it seems Fernandes feels like he's in safe hands alongside his teammates.

The 27-year-old was all smiles during Thursday's training session after he returned to the scoresheet against Brighton on Tuesday.
Fans were quick to join in with the former Sporting Lisbon playmaker's show of support for his colleagues.
One user commented: "The great wall of Manchester."
Another added: "The CB pairing we NEED."
Bailly has managed just seven appearances this season but he'll be hoping to see more minutes once he's returned to full fitness.
