Dimitar Berbatov believes Marcus Rashford should wait and see who will become Manchester United's next manager before making a decision on his future.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News on Monday, Rashford is understood to be considering his future at Old Trafford after being left out of the starting line-up against Manchester City on Sunday. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani were unavailable for selection, meaning the academy graduate was the only recognisable striker available.
However, interim manager Ralf Rangnick deployed Bruno Fernandes in a 'false-nine' role, leaving Rashford to settle for a place on the bench. But considering United were expected to try and hit City on the counter-attack, it seemed almost certain that the England international would start and spearhead the attack with his pace.

He did step off the bench in the second half, replacing Paul Pogba, shortly before Riyad Mahrez netted his first goal to put City 3-1 up. He had no impact on the game as United failed to register a single second-half shot.
Having been omitted from the starting line-up, Rashford, who is out of contract at the end of next season, is now considering his future at Old Trafford. However, Berbatov believes he should hang fire and wait and see what the new manager's plans for him will be.
Berbatov told Betfair: "It was strange that Marcus Rashford did not start the Manchester derby, especially with United missing Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
