BBC Strictly star Adam Thomas 'confirms appearance' on live show after major health worry

Adam Thomas' wife Caroline has appeared to confirm the ex-Emmerdale star will be participating in Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing live show, after reports claimed he may be forced to miss the show due to health concerns. Adam, 35, is competing on this year's Strictly with professional dancer Luba Mushtuk but has been unwell over recent days and was absent from spin-off show It Takes Two on Friday.
However, on Saturday afternoon his wife Caroline took to Instagram to reveal she'd attended Strictly rehearsals alongside the couple's two children Teddy and Elsie-Rose, hinting that the dad-of-two will be taking to the dance floor after all. It was then shared by Adam.
"SCD week 6 rehearsals here we come," mum-of-two Caroline captioned a photo of her with Elsie-Rose and Teddy, as they got ready to presumably go and visit Adam at Elstree Studios. Adam revealed he was ill before the fifth live show of the series, which took place on Saturday 21 October, and had been forced to miss rehearsal time due to feeling under the weather.
It appeared that the actor wasn't feeling much better this week, as he cancelled an appearance on It Takes Two on Friday with host Fleur East saying he was feeling "under the weather". Fleur announced Adam's absence on 27 October, saying: "Unfortunately, Adam's feeling a bit under the weather but please welcome the lovely Luba." Adam's dance partner Luba was asked by Fleur how Adam was doing.
Luba replied: "He (Adam) is resting now, he just hasn't felt very well, but he is resting and getting ready for tomorrow night so everything will be fine."
