Strictly Come Dancing viewers reckon they've predicted a 'dark horse' winner after Saturday night's show (October 7).
The BBC dance competition continued with Movie Week, which saw the contestants and professional dancers pay homage to 100 years of Disney. The show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, sees a host of famous faces put their dancing skills to the test to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
Competing with a Viennese Waltz inspired by the soundtrack of 2021 blockbuster Encanto were former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola. The pair put in an impressive effort, earning themselves one 9 and two 8s for a total score of 33.

Their feedback was mostly positive too, with Motsi, who gave the pair a 9, praising Ellie's consistent 'strong' and 'really brilliant' performances, adding that they most definitely 'brought the magic.' Shirley nicknamed her 'Miss Fluidity' while Anton called the duo a 'delight'.
Taking to Twitter, viewers were quick to praise Ellie and Vito - with many reckoning she already has the iconic Glitterball trophy within her sights. @megamouth_88 asked: "Is it too early to say Ellie and Vito to win? #Strictly" as @kellyloumugg agreed: "I think Ellie & Vito could win this… #Strictly".
@linc52 reckoned: "I think Ellie is a dark horse to win strictly" as @Dorfybrown agreed: "Really good. She is a dark horse". @AILEENB83105792 added: "A winning combination!" as @NatalieCox101 said: "Ellie and Vito - such a sweet partnership I hope they make the final."
