BBC's Strictly Come Dancing confirms surprise cast additions in 30-second clip

The star-studded Strictly Come Dancing 2023 line-up has been unveiled in a gripping first-look trailer. While fans of the BBC show had already been privy to the celebrities they can expect to see compete this year, it's the first time the professionals joining have been confirmed.
A 30-second clip was reeased earlier today, in which all was revealed. Some familiar faces are set to return, much to the enjoyment of fans.
The new trailer is set to an operatic and orchestral reimagining of Snap!'s 1992 dance anthem Rhythm Is a Dancer and opens with pro dancer Amy Dowden lurking mysteriously by a wall in the dead of night. As the music begins to build, other pro dancers hear the call and begin to congregate across London.

Some are seen dancing in the heart of the financial district, the City's glistening tower blocks reaching for the black sky above. Meanwhile, a larger troupe are on the steps of the famous Tate Britain gallery in Pimlico.
Here, dressed head-to-toe in glittering gold outfits, they unleash a stunning set piece that moves as fluidly as a the river in front of the famed art hub.The trailer doesn't just serve the whet the appetite for the forthcoming series.
It's also the official announcement of the professional dancers who will be taking part on this year's show.
