Barton Aerodrome has issued a statement after a brawl broke out beside a stage at a popular music festival on Saturday night (July 15).
The fight, understood to have involved weapons, occurred shortly before 8pm at the Mvson World event, leaving five people injured. Police said the disturbance followed an attempted robbery at the festival before a group of men left via the main entrance towards Liverpool Road.
Greater Manchester Police launched an investigation into the incident and are 'pursuing multiple lines of enquiry' as they appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Barton Aerodrome have now issued a statement and confirmed that the five people who received injuries, not thought to be life-threatening, were treated at the scene by on-site medical staff before being taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary.
They also said that the attempted robbery was carried out by a man who quickly fled the scene and that police were called out to the incident on Saturday.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware of an incident which occurred during the MVSON World event on Saturday 15th July at approximately 19:45 when a disturbance broke out following an attempted robbery by a single male who fled the scene.
"Five attendees of the event received injuries which are not life-threatening and were initially treated by on site medical staff before being transported to Manchester Royal Infirmary under local policy. Greater Manchester Police attended site and are currently carrying out an investigation to identify the perpetrator."
