Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde admits he would love to occupy the left side of the Spanish national team with Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United forward Rashford was the standout player when Erik ten Hag's side went to Camp Nou and drew 2-2 in the first leg of their Europa League play-off clash in February. The 25-year-old beat Marc-Andre ter Stegen from a tight angle before a mazy run forced Joules Kounde to score in his own net.
It was just one of several moments of brilliance from the England man, who enjoyed his best goalscoring campaign with 30 last term. Balde came off the bench that night and admits he would love to see Rashford in the red of Spain.

“One English player that I would like to be Spanish is Marcus Rashford,” Balde told ESPN. “Because he is a player who I like. I like his way of playing.”
Rashford will hope to build on last season's excellent campaign and has admitted he is aiming to build on that tally.
“Before last season, I always aimed for 20 goals – a good benchmark for a winger," he told Gary Neville on the Overlap. "But this season, I’ve hit 30 – we have to try and push it now.
“Towards the end of the season, I was struggling with a few injuries, and I wasn’t quite at it – that’s when the goals started to dry up for a bit. If I can keep that side of it under taps, I feel like I can go on and get 35 or 40.”
The arrival of Rasmus Hojlund should ease some of the burden on Rashford, who was the only Reds player to hit double figures in the Premier League last season.
