Fire crews are still battling a huge blaze which ripped through a historic Scots hotel, around 16 hours after the incident was first reported.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service say that five crews remain on the scene at Ayr's Station Hotel. At the peak of the incident 15 appliances were in attendance trying to put the blaze out.
The alarm was raised at the building in Ayr's Smith Street at around 5.37pm on Monday, September 25. A spokesperson for the fire service said there have been no reported casualties in the incident.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We still have a number of firefighters on scene at a fire within the Station Hotel, Ayr.
“At present, this morning, Tuesday, 26 September, we have five appliances in total at the incident where crews are working to extinguish the fire.
“Initially, we were alerted at 5.37pm on Monday, September 25 to reports of a fire within the Station Hotel, Ayr.
“At its height, Operations Control mobilised 15 appliances to the scene. No casualties have been reported."
It comes as two teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with fire-raising following the incident at the hotel.
The boys, aged 17 and 13, have been reported by Police Scotland to the relevant authorities and further enquiries are ongoing.
The blaze caused travel chaos in Ayr with trains unable to stop in the town. ScotRail has put on a replacement bus service between Glasgow and Ayr.
