Ashley Banjo heartbroken as 'sweetheart' dog dies after short illness

Ashley Banjo has spoken of his heartbreak after his beloved dog died a few days ago after a short illness. The dancer and Dancing On Ice judge announced on Instagram on Wednesday evening that his dog KP had died at the age of almost 11 and spoke of how it broke his heart “to lose her so suddenly”. Posting a gallery of photos showing KP throughout her life, Ashley captioned the images: “KP Banjo 4/4/11 - 5/2/22 “This one hurts a lot… I can never replace you sweetie and it breaks my heart to lose you so suddenly.The same day she fell ill is the same day we lost her.

It will always hurt but that hurt will become the part of you that remembers the love you have.” Meanwhile, a third person added: “So sorry to hear that. What a beautiful life you gave her.” Ashley found fame as part of dance group Diversity and is currently appearing as a judge on the current series of Dancing on Ice alongside Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Oti Mabuse.
