Liberty Poole has been eliminated in week five after losing the skate off. Oti Mabuse was the only judge the save the Love Island star after she performed once again, with Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean all voting to save Kye Whyte. Liberty’s exit comes after she took a tumble on the ice during her routine to Right Round by Flo Rida with her partner Joe Johnson.
She managed to get back onto her feet pretty swiftly and was also awarded her highest score of the series, with an impressive 28 points out of 40. Sadly, it wasn’t enough though, with three of the judges favouring Kye’s performance instead. ‘Even though I had that fall tonight – sometimes these things happen – I have honestly enjoyed every second and I am proud of myself because I have pushed myself this week,’ Liberty told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The S Club 7 star said at the time: ‘It’s definitely been a process, I have really loved it.
‘It’s been an amazing experience, I’ve love dancing with Brendyn so much. ’Rachel said she was also grateful her daughters had got to see her perform, saying: ‘It’s so special for them to have been a part of it and to have shared it with them and I’ve just had the best time, it’s been amazing. ’Dancing On Ice returns with musicals week next Sunday, with Strictly Come Dancing’s Arlene Phillips joining the panel as a guest judge.
