Amy Dowden reveals stunning blonde hair transformation in the wake of her 'no trace' cancer result

Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has shown off her stunning new hairdo, just weeks after sharing the fantastic news that there is “no evidence of disease” in her body.
The 33 year old, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, shared a sweet selfie video on her Instagram stories, showing off her new blonde pixie cut. In the short clip, the Strictly Come Dancing pro revealed that she’d dyed her hair from brown to blonde as it grows back after chemotherapy. Captioning the video, Amy wrote that it was “just a bit of fun” as she showed off her incredible hair transformation.
The news comes after the TV personality appeared as a guest on The One Show, where she shared her health update with host Alex Jones. Speaking on the show, Alex said: “Oh we have been worried sick about you. But good news last week about your cancer treatment.” In response, Amy replied: “Yes, there is no evidence of disease.
I can't get the all clear for about five years but words I dreamed of,” reports the Mirror. In May 2023, Amy was given the devastating news that she had breast cancer. After undergoing a mastectomy, doctors discovered a secondary cancer which she continued to receive treatment for.
Last month she received the wonderful news that there was no evidence of disease, sharing the news on Instagram she wrote: "NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE! Words I dreamed of! My biggest accomplishment yet! I won't be getting the all-clear for 5 years especially with a hormone fed cancer. But it was all worth it. Words I never thought I'd hear at one point.” Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with OK!, Amy said that "so grateful" that fellow Strictly pros Dianne Buswell, Graziano Di Prima, Oti Mabuse and Carlos Gu stepped in to coach the contributors
