Alison Hammond has shared a gushing tribute to her teenage son Aidan, saying she is "so proud" of him as he celebrates his 19th birthday. The This Morning presenter, 49, took to Instagram on Saturday, 10 February to mark her son's big day and posted a sweet video montage of him, including clips of Aidan DJ'ing and with pals.
"Just so proud of this young man ! This is 19 ! I love you son @aidanhammond555," mum-of-one Alison, who shares Aidan ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied, wrote. The TV star's fans and celebrity pals flocked to gush over Aidan on his birthday, with many pointing out how similar he is to his famous mum.
Loose Women's Nadia Sawalha said: "Can see his beautiful energy and how much like yours it is..," while Alison's This Morning co-star Vanessa Feltz gushed: "Love that gorgeous man!" and Fleur East added: "Aw love this! Happy Birthday!" "Happy birthday Aiden, you have a fabulous smile just like your mothers, have a great day," a fan penned, while another agreed, saying: "He’s so like you Alison, happy birthday Aidan xx." While he tends to keep out of the spotlight, Aidan does occasionally accompany his famous mum to red carpet events with the pair previously attending the BAFTAs together as well as rapper Stormzy's 30th birthday bash. The proud mum-of-one revealed last year that her son had started pursuing a career as a DJ, having made his official DJ debut at an event as Alison watched on from the crowd.
Alison's tribute to her son comes after it was announced that she will be taking over presenting For The Love of Dogs, following the death of former host Paul O'Grady last year. Paul hosted For The Love of Dogs from 2012 until his death in 2023.
