Zara has sent fashion fans crazy by selling a tote bag that looks almost identical to a designer version that is worth over £600.
With its large selection of stylish items, the high street retailer has long been a popular go-to place for shoppers. It has also been known to stock the odd 'dupe' here and there.
One of the latest that shoppers have spotted is a mini tote bag that looks eerily similar to one sold from French luxury fashion house Chloe. The retailer's handbag was recently shared on TikTok in a video claiming it is a 'dupe' for the designer brand, reports The Liverpool Echo.
TikTok user @fashionfoodtrends shared a video of the bag with the text “Zara bag - Chloe dupe”. The caption read: “CHLOE DUPE BEI ZARA.”
The handbag from Zara in question is the Canvas Mini City Bag that is said to be a 'dupe' for Chloe's Mini Woody Tote Bag. Priced at just £29.99, Zara shoppers are saving themselves £580 when compared to Chloe's £610 designer-price tag.
Both handbags feature the same tote design, contrast-coloured details, top handle and detachable cross-body shoulder strap. The only main difference is that the 'dupe' does not feature the Chloe branding.
This isn't the first time that Zara has caused a stir among fashion fans with a designer 'dupe' for less. The retailer's pink Straight Blazer With Feather recently went viral for being similar to Valentino's Dry Tailoring Wool Embroidered Blazer.
While Zara's stylish blazer cost £129, Valentino's designer buy would have set you back a whopping £3,300 - meaning Zara shoppers were saving £3,171.
Shoppers can purchase the Zara Canvas Mini City Bag for £29.99 on the retailer's website.
