Netflix and Zack Snyder have seemingly developed a solid working relationship following the successful release “Army of The Dead.” The streamer has already touted the success metrics of the Snyder zombie movie (it’s apparently one of their biggest movies), Snyder’s already produced a prequel with “Army of Thieves” and an animated prequel project “Army of The Dead: Lost Vegas,” is expected to premiere spring 2022.

“Rebel Moon,” a previously announced science-fiction adventure film that Snyder will direct. The news comes after Netflix revealed that Snyder’s most recent film “Army of the Dead” was watched by 75 million member households in its first 28 days, making it one of Netflix’s top 10 most watched original films.

After directing Army of the Dead for Netflix, Zack Snyder is returning to the streamer for his next film as he has come on to direct Rebel Moon, sources confirmed to Deadline. Synder will also co-write the pic with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. Johnstad also co-wrote story with Snyder.
