A woman was left disgusted after she spotted 'mould' on multiple burger buns after sitting down to tuck into a Scots takeaway.
Kathryn who ordered from Mama Mia on Kelvin Road, in Glasgow, has slammed the eatery over their food standards. She paid £13 for the burger box meal with her total order coming to £26 on Tuesday night through Just Eat.
The burger box came with two cheeseburgers, one chicken burger and chips. When she opened up the box the 36-year-old claims there was 'mould' growing on the buns reports Glasgow Live.
She said: "Myself and my husband both had a bite of the chicken burger and commented on how oily the chips were. When I later went back and looked at the burger, I turned it round and saw the mould on the bottom of the bun.
"I was horrified and went through to the living room to tell my husband, returned to the kitchen to look at the other buns and noticed every one of them had mould on them."
Kathryn insisted she was refunded after she got in touch with JustEat who offered to add credit onto her account which she declined. She has since reported the incident to North Lanarkshire council.

She added: "My husband called Mama Mia as he was so angry and informed them of what had happened and had to tell them several times what the problem was. They offered to send out a replacement box meal which we declined for obvious reasons.
"Although I'm sure a lot of people will just say 'oh its a bit of mould what's the fuss'. If the shop are willing to send out mouldy rolls what else is going on? I'm certainly not happy with their reaction or response and want to highlight what happened to others."
