That's right, your favourite slice of reality TV is back for a summer of single men revealing themselves... wait, wrong show. Then again, there's little left to the imagination when it comes to the bikini-clad, ab-tastic singletons in the Love Island villa, and we're ready and waiting in the wings to lap up every sexy second.
Love Island returns to our screens on Monday, 6 June at 9pm on ITV2. Should the unthinkable happen and you miss an episode, you can catch up straight away on ITV Hub - crisis averted. Laura Whitmore and hubby Iain Stirling are also back in action, presenting and narrating respectively, with host Laura, 36, reportedly bagging £500k for the job.
Iain recently promised this year to "be the sexiest yet", and we're certainly gonna hold him to it! Now, in just a few days time, 11 brand new singletons will step foot inside their Majorcan home and face the harrowing task of finding love in the summer of their lives. It'll also be the longest summer of their lives for some, as this year's series is set to be EIGHT weeks long compared to a typical Love Island stint of roughly a month and a half. So that's eight weeks of tanning, comparing types on paper and tashing on both in and out of the tasks..
all in name of true love, of course. Who are the contestants so far? The grand reveal for our OG Season 8 contestants has been dropped at long last, with 11 singletons ready in the wings. 24 year old paramedic Paige Thorne Dami Hope, a Senior Microbiologist from Dublin Hotel waitress and fashion model, Indiyah Polack, 23 22 year old masters student Liam Llewellyn Tasha Ghouri, a model and dancer from North Yorkshire Italian business owner Davide Sanclimenti, 27 Michael Owen's 19 year old daughter Gemma Ikenna
