Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong has already admitted that he does not know when he will make a decision on his future amid Manchester United's interest in his signature.
As reported by the Manchester Evening News on Wednesday morning, United have held talks with the defender's representatives ahead of the prospect of trying to sign him this forthcoming summer. It is understood that Reds manager Erik ten Hag is a fan of his fellow countryman and would like to add him to his squad.
The Netherlands international, 22, joined Leverkusen from Scottish heavyweights Celtic in January 2021, following a string of impressive performance for the Glasgow club. He had joined Celtic from Manchester City in September 2019.

Frimpong has been an almost-ever present figure since joining the German club in the middle of the 2020/21 campaign, racking up 86 appearances in all competitions. He has played 39 times this season, chipping in with an impressive eight goals and nine assists, highlighting his attacking threat from the full-back berth.
With statistics like those, it is hardly surprising that he has generating interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs, including United, who plan to bolster their right-back options this summer. But despite ongoing speculation about his future, Frimpong, speaking after Leverkusen's 1-1 draw with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the first-leg of their Europa League quarter-final last Thursday evening, admitted he is no rush to make a decision.
"I don't know when I will decide about my future," said Frimpong, speaking last week. "I'm just concentrating on Leverkusen and the upcoming games."
