Becky, 25, and her boyfriend recently moved into a four-bed house in Alderley Edge - an affluent village that forms part of Cheshire's 'Golden Triangle'. As it was there first time renting after moving out of their parents' houses, the pair wanted to be savvy with their spends - and as a result - they ended up saving thousands kitting out their new home with bargains from Facebook Marketplace.
Becky spoke to the Manchester Evening News as part of our Where I Live series. Each week we speak to a different homeowner or renter who lives in the north west region, to hear about their buying or renting journey - whilst taking a look inside their home.

After deciding they wanted to move in together, Becky and her boyfriend initially considered buying a house before realising that renting was the better option. "We were torn between whether to rent or buy, but we decided we would test out living together first," Becky told the Manchester Evening News.
"We are also not sure if we want to go and do a bit of travelling at some point, so we just felt like renting was probably the best option for us at this moment in time."
