Since first arriving back on our screens in the 1990s, it’s safe to say Angela Griffin has become one of the most loved and recognisable stars of the UK TV scene. Angela grew up just outside Beeston on the Cottingley Estate. Attending Intake High School in the Rodley area of the city, Angela soon discovered her love of performing and began to audition for a number of coveted parts throughout her teenage years and early adulthood.Thriving Career Her first big break came in 1992 when Angela was just 16 years old and bagged herself a role in ITV soap opera Coronation Street as the popular hairdresser Fiona Middleton.
