Iceman and Maverick are reunited. Val Kilmer recently shared what it was like to film "Top Gun: Maverick" with Tom Cruise nearly 30 years after the original "Top Gun" was released. "It was like no time had passed at all," Kilmer shared with Entertainment Weekly on Thursday.

"Top Gun" star Tom Skerritt is sharing his thoughts on the movie's sequel and reflecting on the original 1986 film.  Skerritt, who starred as Commander Mike "Viper" Metcalf in the original, opened up about what made "Top Gun" iconic during a recent interview with Fox News Digital. "The music had a lot to do with it by the way," he said. "But the screenplay itself, which I've always honored as being the whole reason for a good show, and you just write the work … and do the job you have good material for the rest of us to work with.

“Top Gun: Maverick” is finally out, fulfilling a long-promised dream from Tom Cruise who was determined to reprise the character that catapulted him to superstardom. The trailer shows the return of several “Mission: Impossible” series cast members, including franchise stalwart Ving Rhames, recent additions Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson, and “Fallout” star Vanessa Kirby. In addition, the trailer shows the return of Henry Czerny, who appeared in the original 1996 “Mission Impossible” as IMF director Eugene Kittridge, showing a tense meeting between him and Cruise’s Hunt.

A trailer for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One—the seventh film in Paramount’s Mission: Impossible franchise—has apparently leaked to social media. It’s not clear how long the leaked trailer has been online, though it appears all links promoting it on Twitter have already been shut down for copyright infringement. The franchise’s studio Paramount did not immediately return Deadline’s request for comment.
