In a video posted to YouTube on Monday, the 60-year-old actor is seen paragliding while apparently filming an upcoming installment in the franchise.In the video, which was posted by Christian Bamber of The Opinion Matters YouTube Channel, Cruise is seen filming the flick in the Lake District of the U.K.The clip starts by explaining how passersby noticed helicopters overheard before hearing through the grapevine that Cruise was in the area filming the movie. While initially unconfirmed, the man in the video believed the rumors to be true when he saw Cruise himself, and the actor happily waved at gathered fans.The video shows Cruise getting into a helicopter and heading up toward the mountains.

Following the ratings success of Sheridan’s Yellowstone on the network, CBS will broadcast a special sampling of the first two episodes of Lawmen: Bass Reeves. They’ll air back-to-back on Sunday, Nov. 12, beginning at 9 PM, ET/PT, following an episode of the top-rated Yellowstone. Lawmen: Bass Reeves will fill the spot left by Big Brother, which airs its season finale on Thursday.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One stars Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson have revealed the secret Morse Code meaning behind the franchise’s theme.Speaking to NME, the pair shared that they were recently made aware of the secret while appearing the Today FM show Dermot & Dave, hosted by Dermot Whelan and Dave Moore.“This is an amazing fact,” began Pegg. “Dave from Dermot & Dave, an Irish Radio show told us that when Lalo Schifrin wrote the original music, the theme, [he put in] two dashes, two dots [which translates to] ‘MI’,” the actor explained while sounding out the tune.“Stop it, it’s true!” interjected Ferguson, who was equally as excited to share the little-known fact.Lalo Schifrin, an Argentine composer, recorded the M:I theme in 1967.

The 2018 release was the highest-grossing entry in the franchise yet, earning nearly $800 million at the global box office.

The series debuted its second and final season at the premium cabler in March. “We are tremendously grateful for the remarkable work of Matthew Rhys and the unrivaled cast and crew of ‘Perry Mason’ for their reimagining of such a treasured and storied franchise,” HBO said in a statement. “While we won’t be moving forward with another season of the series, we are excited to continue working with the brilliant creatives at Team Downey on future projects.” Based on the characters created by Erle Stanley Gardner, Matthew Rhys starred in the series in the title role. Unlike the 1950’s TV series in which Mason worked as a lawyer, the HBO series portrays the character earlier in his life when he is a private investigator in Los Angeles in the 1930s.

Dale Dickey (“Winter’s Bone,” “Breaking Bad”), Mo Brings Plenty (“Yellowstone,” “The Good Lord Bird”), Tosin Morohunfola (“Run The World,” “Everything’s Trash”), and Margot Bingham (“The Walking Dead,” “She’s Gotta Have It”) have all joined the series. They join previously announced series lead David Oyelowo as well as cast members Lauren E. Banks, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, and Demi Singleton. Dennis Quaid, Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Grantham Coleman, Donald Sutherland, and Justin Hurtt-Dunkley will recur, with Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund set to guest star.

“The Righteous Gemstones” has added new members to its congregation for Season 3. Stephen Dorff, Shea Whigham, Iliza Shlesinger, Casey Wilson and four other actors are set to appear in this new season in recurring roles. In addition to Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby and Frederick Schmidt reprise their roles from previous “Mission: Impossible” films. “Part One” also stars series newcomers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes, Rob Delaney, Indira Varma, Shea Whigham, Mark Gatiss, Esai Morales and Charles Parnell. The first trailer for “Dead Reckoning” included a shot of Cruise driving a motorcycle off a cliff. Paramount Pictures offered a deeper look at the impressive stunt with a behind-the-scenes featurette released in December.

The show is now officially titled “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” and is now described as an anthology series with future installments to follow other iconic lawmen who have impacted history in subsequent seasons. The logline for the Bass Reeves season states it will “bring the legendary lawman of the wild west to life. Reeves, known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded.”
