‘Virgin River’ ends its season with finale shockers

Dynasty, the CW’s reboot of the beloved ABC sudser from the ’80s, came to an end Friday night after five seasons. Here, showrunner Josh Reims talks about what he really wanted to do in the series finale, and how odd it was that ratings for the sudser were never really discussed.

Netflix has revealed the lineup for Tudum, the streamer’s second annual free virtual global fan event set for September 24.

Emily Longeretta “Love Is Blind” is back! The Netflix reality series, produced by Kinetic Content and hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, will return for its 12-episode third season on Oct. 19, the streaming service announced on Wednesday. Once again, the experiment will follow singles looking for love — this time in Dallas — as they are hopeful to fall for The One without ever having seen them. The pairs who choose to get engaged then get to meet and love in the real world, and attempt to plan their weddings and decide if they will stay married. Chris Coelen, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler, Brent Gauches, Brian Smith and Heather Crowe executive produce. The first four episodes of Season 3 will be released on Oct. 19. Episodes 5-7 will debut Oct. 26, followed by episodes 8-10 on Nov. 9. The finale and the reunion will drop on Nov. 9.

Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk is teasing out details of season two of the Netflix smash hit.

Lewis Milestone’s 1930 classic, All Quiet On The Western Front was based on the 1928 novel by Erich Maria Remarque and became the first adaptation of a book to win the Oscar for Best Picture, as well as the first Best Picture Oscar winner to also take Best Director. It has hardly been touched by filmmakers since then save for a TV Movie remake by director Delbert Mann in 1979 that starred Richard Thomas. Now that has changed, and in a significant way , as the book has finally been taken on by Germany with director Edward Berger’s (Patrick Melrose, Your Honor) adaptation (co-written with Lesley Paterson and Ian Stokell) that finally shows us the perspective from the German side. It has already been selected as the German entry for the 95th Academy Awards Best International Film race, and just had its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival today.

Creator Steve Blackman, however, promised to end the celebrated superhero drama with “an amazing story.”  “I’m so excited that the incredibly loyal fans of The Umbrella Academy will be able to experience the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey we began five years ago,” Blackman shared.

Two are already in development, including a series adaptation of the PlayStation game “Horizon Zero Dawn” and the original series “Orbital.” More information about those projects can be found below. Blackman has also brought Abbey Morris onboard Irish Cowboy as his senior vice president of development. Morris was previously an executive for Fabrik Entertainment.
