EXCLUSIVE: There She Goes, a feature film loosely based on Rachael Leigh Cook’s real-life experiences as a ‘90s, has found the rest of its cast.
She’s All That star Cook will star in the movie, which comes from Fox Entertainment Studios, alongside Ghosts star Utkarsh Ambudkar and Party Down’s Ryan Hansen.
Lea DeLaria (Orange Is The New Black), Becky Ann Baker (Girls), Mark Linn-Baker (Succession), Sakina Jaffrey (Billions), and Alok Tewari (The Good Fight) also star.
The film was part of a wide-ranging deal that Cook signed last year with Marvista Entertainment. The company restructured its team with Marvista founding partner Fernando Szew becoming Head of Fox Entertainment Studios, which also consists of Bento Box Entertainment, Marvista, Studio Ramsay Global, TMZ and Fox’s scripted studio.
Night Owls duo Charles Hood and Seth Goldsmith wrote the script and Hood directs. Cook’s production company Ben’s Sister Productions and Choice Films will produce alongside Fox Entertainment Studios. Choice’s Summer Crockett Moore and Tony Glazer serve as producers. Cook and Ambudkar will serve as executive producers along with Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Ani Kevork, and Angie Day.
