A house fire has broken out on a quiet street in Edinburgh, sparking a 'huge' emergency response.

Two men have been rushed to hospital after 'armed cops' locked down a set of flats in the east end of Glasgow.
We earlier told how emergency services raced to the Sandyhill flats on Strowan Street, near Shettleston, after the alarm was raised at around 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 13. Officers have now confirmed they were responding to reports of two men having been found injured in nearby Sandyhills Park.
Ambulance crews attended and the two men, aged 37 and 41, were rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. Their condition is not yet know. A 46-year-old man was later arrested by police.
Reports suggest armed officers scrambled to the scene. Local Facebook page No1seems2care said: "The police have different areas cordoned off and the Ambulance Service have taken a number of people away."
They later added: "The situation at Sandyhills Flats has now turned into a siege with armed police surrounding the flat. Dozens of police are in attendance."
Cops say enquiries into the incident remain ongoing. They add this is 'an isolated incident' and there is 'no risk' to the wider public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were made aware of two men having been found injured in the Sandyhills Park area of Glasgow around 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 13.
“The two men, aged 37 and 41, have been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
“This is an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider public.”
