Passengers have been warned of disruption on the train line between Manchester Piccadilly station and Manchester Airport due to overhead wire damage - and it's set to last all day.
According to National Rail, train services between the two stations may be cancelled or delayed throughout Friday. This is due to damage to the overhead electric wires with Northern, TransPennine Express and Transport for Wales services affected.
Passengers are being urged to check their journey before they travel. Customers can use their train tickets to the airport from other Manchester stations, or on the Metrolink.

On the website, National Rail said: "Damage to the overhead electric wires between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport is causing disruption to journeys running to and from these stations. As a result, trains may be cancelled or delayed.
"We anticipate disruption will continue until the end of the day."
The full routes affected are: Northern between Barrow-in-Furness / Blackpool North / Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Airport: and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow / Crewe, TransPennine Express between Edinburgh / Glasgow Central Lancaster / Saltburn / York / Cleethorpes / Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport and Transport for Wales between Holyhead / Llandudno / Llandudno Junction / Chester and Manchester Airport.
