Thomas Markle makes public plea to 'cruel' Harry and Meghan to let him see his grandkids

Meghan Markle's estranged father Thomas has made a television appearance to beg his daughter to let him meet his two grandchildren as battles his poor health.
Thomas Markle, 79, suffered a stroke last year but has since claimed that the Duchess of Sussex, 42 has made no attempt to contact him since.
The once close father and daughter duo are believed to have not been on speaking terms since Thomas was involved in setting up paparazzi pictures ahead of Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry, 39, in 2018.
The dad-of-three pulled out of his youngest daughter's nuptials just days before and King Charles kindly offered to step in to walk Meghan down the aisle in his place.
Since that time, the Sussexes have welcomed two children into the world, their son Prince Archie and daughter Princess Lilibet, OK! reports.
However due to Meghan's non-existent relationship with her father, Thomas has still not met his grandchildren.
Now in an appearance on Good Morning Britain, Thomas opened up to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid about his hopes to meet Archie and Lilibet before he runs out of time.
Branding his daughter as "cruel" for refusing to introduce him to his grandchildren, Thomas added that their other grandfather, King Charles, who is also now not on speaking terms with Harry and Meghan, would also likely want to see his grandkids.
He said: "I've done nothing wrong, there's nothing. I've been a really loving father and she knows that and there's no excuse for her to treat me this way, there's no excuse to treat the King that way as well."
Thomas then added: "I'm very upset about it as well because this is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent, not just me but to the King as well, to deny the right to see a grandchild."
