This Morning viewers were left confused today after a chef claimed a meal he cooked would cost just £1 per person – but many didn’t agree. Miguel Barclay, a British chef, joined Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield on the show to cook a delicious looking meal of a chilli con carne with a twist, all for under £1 a portion. Holly, 41, watched on and asked the chef: “And once you’ve bought spices like that, you’ll use them in lots of different dishes won’t you?” Miguel replied: “Oh yeah, these are store cupboard essentials.” As Miguel worked his magic in the kitchen, Holly said: "£1 a head, there's no reason not to make this... unless you're a vegetarian!" But, many viewers took to Twitter to raise speculation about the price tag. One said: “There is no f***ing way you can feed a family of four for £4.
