This Morning's Ben Shephard issued 'warning' as he and Cat Deeley open first show as new hosts

Ben Shephard was given a 'warning' by some of Cat Deeley's former co-stars as they finally appeared at the helm of This Morning for their first show as the new permanent hosts.
Former Good Morning Britain star Ben and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat were announced last month as the permanent replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield - whose shock exits came within months of each other last year.
From Monday (March 11) the new duo will host from Monday to Thursday while Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary present their usual Friday show. However, Alison won't be back on screens until April as she revealed she was taking March off to move home and spend time with her teen son, Aiden.

As the first show of the week opened, Cat and Ben appeared to have been caught off guard as they had a pre-show chat before they addressed the ITV show's viewers.
"Oh hello, it's Monday, March 11, welcome to a brand new week on This Morning," Ben cheerily said. Cat commented: "We are so excited to be here aren't we?" As Ben said: "Giddy," Cat replied: "We are. This show's been a huge part of our lives for so long so to actually be standing here, with you, is good."
Ben then agreed, saying: “It is very special, we are thrilled to be here," and thanked those who have sent them messages of support since it was announced they'd be taken over.
