The mysterious woman who appears on the cover of Black Sabbath‘s legendary debut album has been revealed.
The artwork for the 1970 album, which celebrated its 50th birthday this week, sees a cloaked woman standing alone in a grainy woodland.
The setting, a new retrospective on half a century of the album in Rolliing Stone reveals, is a 15th-century water mill in Oxfordshire called Mapledurham, and the woman pictured is model Louisa

Buscabulla have announced their debut album. Regresa—which means “return” or “to come back” in Spanish—arrives May 8 via Ribbon Music. The duo of Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle have also shared a 16mm-shot video for new single “NTE” (aka “No Te Equivoques” or “Don’t Get It Wrong”), directed by Chris Gregory-Rivera and filmed on the Aguadilla waterfront in Puerto Rico. Hot Country Knights, Dierks Bentley’s ’90’s-influenced band, will release their debut album The K Is Silent on May 1. The project was produced and co-written by Bentley, and the record includes collaborations with Terri Clark and Travis Tritt.“We were out on the road singing a lot of other people’s hits, and we called them Greatest Hits because by us singing them, it actually made them great,” Doug Douglason, Bentley’s alter ego, says in a statement.
