Online restaurant-reservation service OpenTable has shared a list of the top eateries across the nation ahead of Valentine's Day. From afternoon tea to steak to modern European cuisine, there are countless options for those looking to enjoy a tasty meal with their other half.
In total, nine Scottish restaurants are featured in OpenTable's list. These are located around the country, in cities including Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Glasgow.

The first restaurant to be named in the alphabetical list is Alston Bar & Beef in Glasgow. The smart, cellar-like restaurant and gin bar underneath Glasgow Central Station is the perfect spot for carefully sourced Scottish steak.
Next is Angels with Bagpipes in Edinburgh's historic Old Town. The independent family restaurant serves up Scottish fine dining in a a 16th-century building complete with opulent decor.
Intimate and laid back, Cafe Boheme in Aberdeen is one of the very best spots in the city for seafood. Also available at the candlelit French cafe-restaurant are delicious brasserie classics.
