Congratulations to Andrew Harwood and Raf Khoury who appeared on the final of Bake Off: The Professionals last night. Although they had to settle for a runner-up spot, they displayed some incredible skills over the course of the Channel 4 series.
Andrew, who runs Harwoods of Standish with his wife Sarah, told Wigan Today they had a ‘fabulous time’ during the competition. I’m sure the queues outside the shop on High Street are going to be pretty big after last night’s show, which saw the pair create a 1920s banquet display.
If you fancy trying one of their creations, it looks like they’re currently selling a 'hazelnut and coffee rocher' which featured as part of their final show stopper. Sounds and looks delicious.
