More than a third of local authority areas in England have seen infection rates rise in the last week.
Data analysis by the PA news agency shows the latest case rates, for the seven days to March 12, for every local authority area in England.
Of the 315 local areas in England, 121 (38 per cent) have seen a rise in case rates, 190 (60 per cent) have seen a fall and four are unchanged.
