Viewers of The 1% Club were convinved one contestant on the show may have used a cheating tactic, as he was spotted rubbing his ear on a question where the answers were "ear" and "hear". Appearing too much of a coincidence that his gesture coincided with the question, contestant Jason Duckett, who was on the show with wife Rowena, had many fans wondering whether it was a signal to her. One fan took to X and shared: "Anyone else see the contestant on 1%club, rub his ears on the ear/hear question?", as another echoed: "Did anyone else notice this guy giving away the answer when he touched both his ears?” While a third fan quipped: “Ear ear .
. . think there was a wee bit of cheating going on in 1% Club.” But after appearing on the quiz show, which is hosted by Lee Mack, and being the subject of speculation, contestant Jason has now spoken out to clear things up.
