Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes "p----- off" Rosie Perez at the Oscars, the actress has revealed. The three stars, who starred in "White Men Can't Jump" together in 1992, took the stage at the 94th Academy Awards on March 27 to present the award for best cinematography.Their reunion at the show commemorated the 30th anniversary of the release of the film. Perez appeared on "The Daily Show" on Thursday night, where host Trevor Noah reflected on the memorable moment with her, Harrelson and Snipes.

The film stars Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson in a mix-up comedy in which a New York City screw-up is mistaken for the world’s deadliest assassin at an Airbnb rental apartment. It had previously been scheduled for theatrical release on August 12.

Netflix has acquired worldwide rights to Sony Pictures’ action-comedy The Man from Toronto, starring Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson, Deadline can confirm. The film previously scheduled for release in theaters on August 12 will now bow on the streamer in all territories apart from China later this year.

The transfer falls under the exclusive first-look deal Sony signed with Netflix last year, on the heels of its notable windowing agreement with the tech giant in 2021.The film revolves around a case of a mistaken identity after the world’s deadliest assassin, known as the “man from Toronto,” (Harrelson) and a stranger, played by Hart, run into each other at an Airbnb. Chaos soon follows as the assassin’s world comes crashing down on Hart.

Peacock has partnered with Amy Poehler to produce an unscripted series that will follow people’s lives as they prepare for death.The show, titled “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning,” will feature a “Swedish Death Cleaner” who will help people who “are at a major crossroads [to] organize and demystify [their] homes, lives, and relationships” and thereby “allowing us to prepare for death while we enjoy life,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series will be narrated by Poehler and produced by her production company, Paper Kite Productions, Universal Television Alternative Studio and Scout Productions- which gave us “Queer Eye.”“’Queer Eye’ reshaped the way we look at life, and ‘The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning’ will transform the way we look at death,” said David Collins, Scout Productions co-founder and executive producer.“In this series, viewers will be taken on an honest and emotional journey as they watch everyday people conquer their worst fears and discover who they really are on the inside,” added Rod Aissa, executive vice president of unscripted content for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

Wilson Chapman editorPeacock has ordered the Amy Poehler-produced unscripted series “The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning” Variety has learned.Adapted from the 2018 nonfiction book of the same name from Swedish artist Margareta Magnusson, the show is an hourlong home-makeover show where the makeovers are based on the Swedish practice of döstädning, or death cleaning, where people declutter their homes and get rid of unnecessary belongings.Each episode will feature a different person at a crossroads in their life that will get visited by a Swedish Death Cleaner to help them organize their homes. The episodes feature interviews the the homeowner as well as their friends, neighbors and family, and will see the Death Cleaner encourage the owner to pass along mementos to their loved ones.
