Sufjan Stevens has shared his new album early

Joan Shelley has released a new live album, recorded in Louisville, Kentucky in December. The full-band performance includes guitarist Nathan Salsburg, Nathan Bowles, Jake Xerxes Fussell, and Anna Krippenstapel, plus guest appearances by Will Oldham and Julia Purcell. Phoebe Bridgers has announced her sophomore solo album: Punisher is out June 19 via Dead Oceans. The follow-up to 2017’s The Gradual Progression, Contact was produced and mixed by Randall Dunn. A portion of its proceeds will benefit the Dhamma Dharā Vipassana Meditation Center. Album release week felt a little different for the 5 Seconds of Summer guys this year. Instead of running around the country performing tracks from their new LP, Calm (which arrived March 27), each of the 5SOS guys were at their respective Los Angeles homes, quarantined as part of the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.“It’s definitely odd,” frontman Luke Hemmings says over the phone.
