Titled “Étoile,” the series will take place in both New York and Paris. Each season will consist of eight episodes. The official logline states that the show “follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions by swapping their most talented stars.” The cast for the series includes Luke Kirby (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “The Deuce”), Camille Cottin (“Call My Agent!,” “House of Gucci”), Simon Callow (“Outlander,” “Four Weddings and a Funeral”), Lou de Laâge (“The Innocents”), Gideon Glick (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Marriage Story”), and David Alvarez (“West Side Story”).

Episodes 1 and 2 of “Barry” Season 4 have reached an average of 2.5 million viewers since they both debuted on April 16. As previously reported, Episode 1 started at 710,000 viewers while Episode 2 saw 550,000 on premiere night — meaning that delayed viewing on streaming has allowed for an increase of 289%, a near quadruple of the original statistics. Additionally, Sunday’s release of Episode 3 reached 660,000 viewers, which is even with the average viewership of Season 3. These data points are based on a combination of Nielsen’s measurement of linear viewers on HBO’s cable channels and Warner Bros. Discovery’s first-party measurement of streams on HBO Max.

The HBO drama reached 2.6 million viewers on Sunday night, when the fourth episode of its fourth and final season debuted. That’s an improvement of 4% from Episode 3, which featured a shocking death and brought in a then-series high of 2.5 million viewers. Immediately afterwards, HBO and HBO Max premiered the fourth and final season of “Barry” with two episodes. The first episode was watched by 710,000 viewers — the most the series has seen since the finale of Season 2, which benefited from airing directly after an episode of “Game of Thrones,” HBO’s most watched show ever. Episode 2 dropped by 23% to bring in 550,000 viewers.

So immediately I was able to put off the fact that it was my funeral.” Cox admitted that he is typically “hopeless” at keeping secrets and that keeping Logan’s death under wraps was an “absolute triumph.”In a behind the scenes featurette, series creator Jesse Armstrong admitted he was nervous to tell Cox he’d be exiting the series in the third episode of Season 4.“I was very nervous to tell him because there’s lots of anxieties about whether this is the right creative decision and there’s anxieties that someone who I love working with and has been at the center of the show will feel rejected on a human level for not being in it anymore when he’s been so central to the whole thing,” he said.
