Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth has refused to rule out a January exit for star striker Serhou Guirassy amid links with Manchester United, although says his club are under no pressure to sell.
A number of European outfits are said to be interested in Guirassy, whose 17 goals in 14 Bundesliga matches have helped Stuttgart climb to third in the table. The attacker’s overall tally across all competitions stands at 19 goals in 16 games.
The 27-year-old is currently away with Guinea ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations opener against Andre Onana’s Cameroon next week, and there is the possibility that he might not be returning to Germany post-tournament.

Stuttgart chief Wohlgemuth, though, says there has been "nothing new since the last Bundesliga matchday" and insists that his club’s strategy "is not to hope, fear and keep our fingers crossed".
As per BW24, he added: "It's not a wish-for-you thing. We are constantly in contact, and if constellations arise that are favourable, then we will do it. If not, then not. We will keep our eyes and ears open."
Wohlgemuth then admitted: "We're not under any pressure, but the squad situation is a bit tense at the moment." Losing Guirassy would significantly weaken Stuttgart’s chances of a Champions League finish and so the Germans may set a high price.
That would likely cast United out of the race given club officials have said they do not expect to spend much this month in light of Financial Fair Play concerns following a summer spend of more than £180m.
