Beatrice's look was completed by Queen Mary's Russian Fringe tiara which the late Queen previously wore when she married Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten in 1947.The tiara famously broke just hours before the wedding and had to be urgently fixed by the Crown Jeweller.The incredible piece was also worn by Princess Anne on her first wedding day in 1973. It was also been used by the late monarch on several occasions since then, such as for her Diamond Jubilee portrait for New Zealand.
