Forensic cops were seen outside a property in Edinburgh in relation to the Marc Webley murder.
Two officers in white coveralls were captured outside a home in Niddrie, at around 3pm. A police van was also seen at the address, reports Edinburgh Live.
A police source confirmed this was in connection with enquiries to the death of a 38-year-old man on December 31. Marc Webley was shot and killed outside the Anchor Inn pub on Granton Crescent on Hogmanay.
A bystander said: "I saw police officers and a forensic team at Niddrie Marischal Loan. I'm not sure what was happening. This was around 3pm."
This latest incident comes just days after police descended on the banana flats of Leith, also in connection with enquiries into the death of Webley.
Cops have arrested and charged three suspects following the incident, two of which appeared at court charged with murder. They were 32-year-old Grant Hunter and 25-year-old Emma McVie.
A third suspect, a 33-year-old woman, has also been charged. A vehicle was recovered in connection with the shooting and officers have been combing nearby drains and gardens.
Around a week after Webley's death, thieves allegedly nicked two of his children's moto-bikes from his home in Granton. The aunt of the two boys appealed on social media for the toys to be returned following the break-in.
It's understood that the police haven't been contacted to deal with the theft of the toys.
