Courteeners have announced that ahead of their headline performance at Y Not Festival next month, they’ll play a warm-up gig in London – get tickets here.Liam Fray and co. will headline the Derbyshire festival – held in the heart of the Peak District in Pikehall – on July 30, joining other headliners Stereophonics and Blossoms, who will perform on July 29 and 31 respectively.But before Courteeners headline Y Not, the band will hit the stage for a warm-up gig at Electric Ballroom in Camden, London on July 29.Announced today (June 29), tickets go on sale on Friday (July 1) at 9am BST – get tickets here.Courteeners will head across the pond this November for a string of US tour dates, marking the first time the band will have played there since Coachella in 2009.The US tour kicks off at Boston’s Brighton Music Hall on November 10, with the band heading to New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles ahead of their recently announced Corona Capital Festival appearance in Mexico City on November 18.

Billie Eilish has added another leg to her ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour, announcing six tour dates in Asia this August.The shows, announced today (June 23), will mark Eilish’s first-ever headlining shows in the continent. The singer had previously performed in Singapore, Tokyo and Osaka in 2018 as part of the Laneway and Summer Sonic festivals respectively.The new dates will take Eilish to cities across the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Japan.

Alvvays have announced they’ll kick off a North American headline tour in October, and have also seemingly teased new music.The Canadian dream pop outfit will commence the run on October 14 in Chicago, continuing along with shows in Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Texas, Washington, Philadelphia, New York and more before wrapping up November 18 in Boston. Kid Cudi has announced that he’ll be coming to the UK later this year for his first gig in the country in 13 years – get tickets here.The show forms part of the rapper and actor’s ‘To The Moon’ world tour, which will kick off in Vancouver, Canada, on August 16.The North American leg of the tour will see Cudi will make stops in Oakland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia, Boston, New York and more, before wrapping up in his home city of Cleveland on September 16.Cudi will then head across the pond for dates in Tokyo, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and Milan. Both productions were sold to Netflix.The new deal calls for them to develop a minimum of six new TV projects, including both dramas and YA series, and two to three new movies per year.

UTA will hold the 10th annual Project Impact day on Friday.Project Impact is a global volunteer event organized by UTA’s foundation, which sees employees from the agency volunteer at charitable organizations. The ongoing YSL RICO indictment in Georgia has reignited a long-running debate about the legal admissibility of rap lyrics as evidence of criminal wrongdoing. In response to recent events, 300 Entertainment co-founder and recently appointed CEO Kevin Liles and long-time Atlantic Records COO Julie Greenwald have circulated “Rap Music on Trial: A Petition to Protect Black Art.” “Weaponizing creative expression against artists is obviously wrong,” Liles and Greenwald write.

Phoenix have announced details of an upcoming tour. The Alpha Zulu Tour, which shares a name with the new song the band released last week, will hit North America in September before making its way to Europe in November.

SISTAR member Hyolyn is set to release new music later this year.In a statement released to South Korean media earlier today (June 3), her label Bridʒ announced that the singer is preparing to release new music next month. “As she is dubbed a ‘Summer Queen,’ she will come back with songs so people can have another ‘hot summer’ this year,” the label said of the forthcoming project, per Korea JoongAng Daily.The label added that the forthcoming project will be “something more than what was seen on Queendom 2.” Further details on Hyolyn’s upcoming project are expected to be released in the following weeks.Hyolyn’s new release will come six months after the release of ‘Layin’ Low’.
