Alvvays announce North American tour, tease new music

Kalush Orchestra have announced a North American headline tour for later in the year.There’s a total of 13 dates on the itinerary, with the run set to kick off at Seattle’s Club SUR on Thursday, October 20. The Ukrainian act chase it up with back-to-back shows in San Francisco, Denver and LA before rolling on to Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia and New York.The US dates will wrap up over the first week of November, with shows locked in for Washington DC, Miami and Chicago before the tour ends in Canada with Montreal and Toronto gigs.Tickets for all of the dates – a full list of which can be found below – are on sale now via Bomond.

Mark Tuan has announced an upcoming North American tour for 2022, with 16 dates currently scheduled.The Taiwanese-American musician took to Twitter earlier today (July 7) to announce that he is set to embark on a tour of 15 North American cities this year. Tuan is set to visit major cities such as San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, San Francisco and more, as well as two shows in his home city of Los Angeles.In addition to the US, the K-pop idol will also perform in the Canadian cities of Toronto and Vancouver.

Nova Twins have announced their second tour of North America for 2022, returning with their just-released ‘Supernova’ album.The London-native punk duo made their stateside debut back in March, performing a showcase at this year’s SXSW alongside a handful of club gigs. The ‘Supernova’ tour will be their first proper trek of the continent as a headlining act, with 11 intimate shows lined up across September and October.They’ll start at The Roxy Theatre in LA, performing on Tuesday September 27, before rolling through San Francisco and Seattle over the last few days of the month.

Declan McKenna has announced he’ll embark on a North American tour in September in support of latest album ‘Zeros’, over two years since it arrived and marking his first shows Stateside since 2019.The 15-date run will begin on September 25 at in Seattle, and will also include stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Texas and more. Turnstile have shared an official music video for their ‘Glow On’ album cut ‘New Heart Design’, alongside the news of a North American theatre tour slated for October.The video offers newcoming fans a preview of what to expect from the tour, comprising a montage of shots filmed during their recent stints in North America and Europe. Shot entirely on 16mm film, it was co-directed by singer Brendan Yates and longtime collaborator Ian Hurdle, the latter of whom captured the concert footage. As for the song itself, the version of ‘New Heart Design’ featured in the video sports an extended ambient outro. The Mars Volta appear to be teasing a reunion and new music at a new ‘Voltacube’ installation in Los Angeles.The band released six studio albums between 2003 and 2012, before splitting in 2013 after founding members Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López fell out. They quickly made amends and formed a new band, Antemasque. They also revamped their pre-Mars Volta outfit, At-the-Drive-In, for a new album in 2017.A Mars Volta reunion has been hinted at by the band several times in recent years.
