Writer-director Prueksa Amaruji’s dark comedy film “Lost Lotteries” is produced by Ekachai Uekrongtham (“Beautiful Boxer,” “Pleasure Factory”) and will stream from mid-November.

While fictional, its basic premise has roots in reality as a lone Oregon store remains open.  Randall Park stars as the ambitious movie lover committed to keeping his Blockbuster dream alive.

Michaela Zee editor Lindsay Lohan is embracing the holiday spirit this fall with Netflix’s rom-com “Falling for Christmas.” Starring Lohan and “Glee” alum Chord Overstreet, the film revolves around a newly engaged and spoiled heiress (Lohan) who, after being diagnosed with amnesia due to a skiing accident, subsequently lands in the care of a blue-collar lodge owner (Overstreet) and his daughter. In addition to Lohan and Overstreet, the film stars Jack Wagner, George Young, Blythe Howard, Chase Ramsey and Olivia Perez. “Falling for Christmas” is directed by Janeen Damian and marks her directorial debut. The “Christmas Waltz” and “Much Ado About Christmas” writer and producer also co-wrote the screenplay with husband Michael Damian (“Hot Tamale,” “Moondance Alexander”), Jeff Bonnett (“Love by the Book”) and Ron Oliver (“Operation Christmas,” “Harvest Moon”). MPCA’s Brad Krevoy and Riviera Films’ Michael Damian serve as producers on the film. MPCA is behind several Netflix Christmas films, including the “A Christmas Prince” franchise, “Operation Christmas Drop” and “A Castle for Christmas.”

Lindsay Lohan is in the first official look at her upcoming Netflix holiday film. On Monday, the streaming platform shared images of the actress as well as the key art for the movie. Set for a November debut, stars Lohan as “a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress [who] gets into a skiing accident, suffers from total amnesia and finds herself in the care of a handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter in the days leading up to Christmas.”Describing the film as “extravagant, temperamental [and] glamorous,” Lohan tells Netflix’s Tudum that “it’s such a refreshing, heartwarming romantic comedy and I miss doing those kinds of movies.”And when it comes to Christmas, it “is a time when family comes together.

Netflix has put out a last-minute call for an actor to play Prince Harry in season six of The Crown, with filming scheduled to start in November. Anyone who looks like Prince Harry (or knows someone who does) is being urged to come forward – and no acting experience is necessary.There is a two-week deadline and entrants need to send a short video of themselves doing “something they love” by email and whoever the future star will be has been promised “a great deal of support”.The call-out sheet reads: “Robert Sterne, Casting Director of the Netflix series THE CROWN, is searching for an exceptional young actor to play Prince Harry in the next series." It continues: “It is a significant role in this award winning drama and we are looking for a strong physical resemblance.
